Deep snow skiing and rejuvenating treatments
The ski resort of Ovronnaz has an excellent cross-country ski area with 22 km of routes and numerous hiking routes and powder snow. Fans of freeriding / deep snow skiing find in the lower part of the ski resort of Ovronnaz several routes over different terrain in the amount of Bougnonne and Tsantonnaire lifts. Other, more exciting routes are in the area of Petit-Pré and towards the mountain Seya (2182 m). Due to the predominantly red and black pistes, Ovronnaz is above all a ski resort for intermediate and advanced skiers. Nevertheless, Ovronnaz is also a family ski resort, which also has numerous facilities for beginners. Skiers have two practice areas and a wide beginner piste with the right ski lift. At 2000 m altitude in the area of Petit-Pré, the beginner piste is a bit off the main ski area. This is beneficial for the Skineulinge, since they can try out in peace without being disturbed by advanced skiers. Children can practice and improve at Baby Jorasse Park. For fun with the whole family, Ovronnaz offers a wide and sunny sledge run. Starting from the panoramic restaurant Loutze, this train leads 2 km over 200 m difference in altitude through a magnificent landscape.
Among other things, families benefit from a 10% discount per ski day. Children under the age of 6 can use all facilities in the ski area free of charge. In the lower part of the ski area there are special offers for children in a specially-created area at the Baby Lift. Beginners will be instructed by experienced ski and snowboard instructors of the international ski school on this 4,000 m2 training ground. The area is easily accessible on foot, by car or post bus and has a beginner's ski lift and special beginner pistes. The park is for children from 3 years. In the Ludothek of Ovronnaz there are 500 games, books and DVDs for all ages for a varied après-ski.
