The ski area around the ski resort of Davos forms a ski area together with the Klosters ski area, which is about 12 kilometers to the north. Wide blue runs and gentle downhill runs await beginners at the foot of the Jakobshorn and on the heights of Madrisa, Pischa and Rinerhorn. Broad pistes: skiing fun for everyone

In Davos, there are ski pistes for all kinds of winter sports: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, snowboarding, hiking with skis or snowshoes, Nordic walking. Experienced skiers will be pampered by first-class black pistes. Unlimited skiing fun awaits you on the fast downhill runs and extra wide pistes of the Rinerhorn, the narrow corridors of the Gotschnagrats. From the steep face of the Weissfluhgipfels to the municipality of Küblis, a black runway offers numerous challenges for adrenaline junkies. At the Brämabüel, experienced skiers will also be challenged with technical skills, physical strength and maximum concentration on a breathtaking piste. But the best thing about Davos is and remains its freeriding area. Here you will find a variety of different difficult routes. Hikers will be delighted by the very varied hiking routes. Almost 140 km are specially reserved for walking or snowshoeing to discover the magical alpine world of the Alps.

For advanced skiers, the piste from Weissfluhgipfel to Küblis, in the Prättigau Valley, is just right. Breathtaking downhill runs on the longest ski piste in Europe: 12 km over a dizzying height difference of 2000 meters. Davos also has an excellent network of cross-country ski runs: 77 km of classic routes and 46 km of skating, with an additional 2.5 km of illuminated pistes for night skiing.

Families welcome

Davos is one of the 31 Swiss ski areas that carry the "Families Welcome" quality seal. For families with children, specially-built facilities have been, where both young and old alike have fun and something to experience. Special areas for children and beginners can be found at the Bolgen, below the Jakobshorn and at the Bünda, in the lower part of the Parsenn ski area. On the heights of Pischa there are "Kinderparadiese" and in Selfranga a beginner area. At the foot of the Jakobshorn there is an area that is specially adapted for families. It offers: beginner pistes, ski school, snow tubing pistes and ski kindergarten. For the safety of children there are 4 magic carpets in Davos, which bring children and other beginners safely up to the mountain. In the ski area there are even special pistes for skiers who are traveling with dogs. If you do not want to travel to Davos with too much equipment, you can rent it on site in many places.

Lively après-ski in a cosmopolitan atmosphere

Boredom does not exist in Davos. Skiers can choose from a large number of après ski offers: bars, discos with international DJs, solariums, shopping, wellness center with Jacuzzi, etc. The igloo village at an altitude of 2620 meters is a unique experience. Here you can linger with pleasure at the igloo bar with a glass of mulled wine or a good fondue, or spend the night almost like a real Inuit in the igloo. The igloos, some of them luxuriously equipped with sauna and jacuzzi, provide unforgettable moments. In the Jatzhütte, at the foot of the Jakobshorn, music and dance fans can celebrate every evening to their heart's content. Here is also the Bolgen Plaza, where around the clock an irresistible party atmosphere prevails. Regular concerts are held at the Bolgenschanze, and the party often lasts until dawn in the Pösti Club. If you want, you can also try your luck in the casino.
