A fascinating toboggan run and fantastic winter hikes
One of the main attractions of Waltensburg is the toboggan run, which connects the middle station Alp Dado with the valley station via Spinatsch. With magnificent curves and a difference in altitude of 750 m, this 5 km long route is one of the loveliest sledges in Switzerland. The "Brigelser Runde" and the famous "Panorama Weg" are the most popular winter hiking routes. Starting from Curtginet, the Brigelser Runde leads the hikers on a 8.9 km long route to the neighboring village of Brigels via Miglié and the wonderful lake Brigelser See. The total of 3.4 km long snowshoe route leads in a round of Waltensburg on the neighboring towns Cantuns, Tavellas and Munt Sogn Gieri back to Waltensburg.
