Winter hikes, sunbathing, well-being and relaxation
Brigels lies at the heart of a network of hiking trails, for walks on foot or snowshoes. No less than 36 winter hiking routes are available throughout the Brigels-Waltensburg-Andiast region. A magnificent view, snow crunching under the shoes, wonderful sunshine and pure Alpine air invite you to relax and unwind on the very different routes. The well-groomed routes are also ideal for children to sled and Nordic walking in the snow.
Toboggan fans will have access to a 4km stretch over a 408m difference in altitude. You can get to the starting point on foot or by train. Pure sliding fun awaits you at the snowtubing on the snowtubing piste in Brigels daily from 2 pm to 5 pm. On the 100 m long piste, numerous curves provide the ultimate in fun. The piste is lit on some Fridays in the evening and served by a conveyor belt.
After a long day on the pistes, Brigels invites you to discover the region and the culinary delights of Graubünden. A professional guide will show you roundto the most important sites of Brigels. Discover the chapels Sogn Martin and Sogn Giacun as well as the "living museum" of Jules Cathomas in Cuort. During a guided tour of this authentic alpine hut, an aperitif and two original Graubünden, meals will be served.
Tranquil but very lively ski area
As a tranquil ski area, Brigels does not lack charm. Numerous sporting events go through the winter season. One of the most important sporting events of the season is the freeride pistestyle contest "Surselva Jam" at Snowpark Surselva. Here fans of spectacular jumps have the unique opportunity to prove their skills and win interesting prizes. The breathtaking competitions are accompanied by an attractive supporting program: parties, concerts and various animations.
The Nitro Surselva Snowpark offers elements on various difficulty levels: 5 kickers and 10 different obstacles for beginners as well as a pro line with rails, boxes and kickers for experts. From the middle station, the "Parli" T-bar lift and the "Alp Dado" chairlift bring snowboarders and freestylers to the snowpark in 5 minutes. Each year, Brigels also organizes the horn sled race. This race is open to all. All you need is a horn slide, a classic or a bob sled.
