Paradise for families and experienced skiers
Thanks to its numerous family-friendly facilities and equipment, Lenk received a certificate from the Swiss Tourism Association as a high-quality family ski area. The ski area consists of two subregions located on both sides of the Simmental: Betelberg (2002 m) and Metschstand / Hahnenmoss (2100m). Ski lifts on the outskirts of the village of Lenk lead directly to the Betelberg area. This is the ideal location for ski beginners and families. At the middle station Stoss is the famous Kids Village, the Kinderwelt Stoss. Equipped with a magic carpet and Pinocchio lift, various courses, a trampoline and a heated lounge with play area, Kinderwelt Stoss covers more than 3000 m2. The children can play Snowli accompanied by the mascot and learn to ski under the guidance of experienced ski instructors.
Betelberg is the starting point of the Tschuggen, one of the best ski pistes of the Lenker ski area. 7 km long, this piste runs in linear sections through the magnificent mountain landscape, punctuated by narrow passages and snow-covered forests. In Lenk, the majority of the pistes are for beginners and intermediate skiers. The Tschuggen piste is an exception and a pleasure for expert and professional skiers. It is one of the dream runs in the Bernese Oberland. At a height difference of 900 meters, even the most experienced skiers have to prove their physical fitness and technical skills.
